Makar Sankranti

'Makar Sankranti' is scheduled on Saturday, January 22nd 2011. 
 
This is to let you all know that there is a change in the cultural program for Makar Sankranti on 22nd January 2010. We are planning a 'Sugam Sangeet' program instead of the original kids program. It will be followed by 'haldi kumkum' and 'kite' making contest.
 
All adults and children are encouraged to participate and demonstrate their vocal/instrumental talent with either a Marathi or a Hindi song. We also encourage musical instrument artists to demonstrate their talent on this occasion. Please respond with your interest and details (your name and song/ instrument) to any of the committee members by email to mbmedmontonorg@gmail.com or by phone by Sunday December 26th 2010. We hope to kick start the practice session on Tuesday Dec 28th and a few after that to coordinate vocals and instrumentals.

We encourage everyone to renew your MBME yearly membership by either bringing your cheque at the event or by sending it by post to the Treasurer of MBME (Address has been communicated by email).
